02About the Role
Indian sacred art, temple architecture, and living traditions deserve cinematic visual celebration. As a Video Creator at SattvaLok, you will bring these sacred landscapes to life. From scripting visual treatments to editing 4K footage with immersive ambient soundscapes and subtle motion graphics, you will produce mini-documentaries and digital features that transport viewers to the sacred ghats of Varanasi, the granite marvels of Thanjavur, or the silent caves of the Himalayas.
03Responsibilities & What You'll Do
- →End-to-end production of mid-length and long-form video documentaries (8–20 minutes) on Indic themes.
- →Assemble raw footage, voiceovers, ambient audio, and archival imagery into cohesive, emotionally stirring visual narratives.
- →Apply cinematic color grading, sound design, and pacing appropriate for contemplative and inspiring themes.
- →Collaborate with scriptwriters, scholars, and motion designers on title cards, maps, and animated shlokas.
- →Optimize video exports for YouTube, social channels, and web platform viewing.
- →Maintain a well-organized digital media asset library and project archives.
04Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- ✓2+ years of demonstrable video creation and editing experience with a strong portfolio of narrative or documentary work.
- ✓Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- ✓Solid understanding of narrative pacing, sound design, and color grading.
- ✓High cultural sensitivity and appreciation for Sanatan art and philosophy.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- ★Basic camera shooting skills (4K mirrorless cameras, gimbal operation, drone footage).
- ★Experience creating motion titles and subtle graphic overlays in After Effects.
- ★Background in documentary filmmaking, travel videography, or historical storytelling.
