02About the Role
YouTube is the world's premiere university for curious minds seeking deep-form knowledge. As a YouTube Creator at SattvaLok, you will craft category-defining video essays (10–25 minutes) that unpack the intellectual majesty of Indian civilization. Whether analyzing the philosophical dialogue of the Bhagavad Gita, the astronomical genius of the Surya Siddhanta, or the hidden architectural acoustics of ancient temples, your long-form videos will set a new global benchmark for intellectual depth and cinematic beauty.
03Responsibilities & What You'll Do
- →Collaborate with researchers and scriptwriters to conceptualize and outline compelling long-form video essays.
- →Host on-camera video essays with authoritative, warm, and articulate presentation.
- →Work with editors on archival footage selection, custom 2D/3D visual aids, and chapter-by-chapter pacing.
- →Design high-CTR, tasteful thumbnails and search-optimized titles and descriptions.
- →Monitor YouTube Studio analytics (CTR, average percentage viewed, viewer drop-off points) to continually elevate retention.
- →Engage actively in the community tab and video comments to build a vibrant subscriber fellowship.
04Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- ✓2+ years of experience producing or hosting successful long-form YouTube video essays (channel portfolio required).
- ✓Exceptional on-camera poise, authoritative diction, and engaging vocal modulation in English and/or Hindi.
- ✓Deep intellectual curiosity and respect for Indian philosophy and heritage.
- ✓Understanding of YouTube packaging (thumbnail design psychology, hook retention, and pacing).
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- ★Familiarity with lighting, audio recording, and green-screen / home studio setups.
- ★Experience with scripting and research in historical or philosophical domains.
