02About the Role
The spoken word (Vak) possesses sacred vibrational power in Sanatan tradition. As a Voice Artist at SattvaLok, your voice will guide listeners through meditative scriptural reflections, cinematic documentary narrations, bedtime puranic tales for children, and pristine recitations of classical Sanskrit stotras. You will record in a professional home studio, delivering warm, contemplative, and impeccably pronounced audio that elevates the listener's consciousness.
03Responsibilities & What You'll Do
- →Record serene, dignified voiceovers for documentary videos, guided meditations, and educational podcasts.
- →Recite Sanskrit stotras, mantras, and shlokas with accurate meter (Chhandas), svara accents, and pronunciation.
- →Deliver clean, broadcast-ready audio tracks (edited for breaths, plosives, and background room tone).
- →Work closely with sound designers to synchronize pacing with visual edits and musical scores.
- →Provide multiple emotional variations and tonal reads based on directorial notes.
- →Ensure prompt delivery of recordings matching production timelines.
04Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- ✓2+ years of professional voiceover experience with a dedicated home studio setup (treated acoustic space, condenser microphone, audio interface).
- ✓Exceptional vocal tone: warm, resonant, authoritative, and calming.
- ✓Flawless pronunciation of Sanskrit and Hindi phonetics (accurate dental, retroflex, and aspirated sounds).
- ✓Ability to interpret philosophical and sacred texts with genuine emotional reverence.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- ★Formal training in Carnatic or Hindustani classical music, or Veda chanting.
