02About the Role

Thousands of skilled professionals—including software engineers, translators, historians, audio-visual editors, and students—wish to contribute their talents toward preserving sacred heritage and digitizing ancient wisdom. As Volunteer Coordinator, you will lead SattvaLok's global Seva Network. You will design onboarding pathways, match volunteers with meaningful projects, recognize their contributions, and maintain an inspired, united community.
03Responsibilities & What You'll Do
- →Design, launch, and manage structured volunteer programs across translation, transcriptions, digital archiving, and field documentation.
- →Review volunteer applications, assess skills, and match individuals to appropriate internal project pods.
- →Lead volunteer orientations, share SattvaLok's cultural ethos, and communicate project delivery expectations.
- →Organize monthly volunteer appreciation circles, recognition certificates, and mentorship sessions.
- →Track volunteer hours, milestones, and deliverables to ensure active volunteer engagement.
- →Act as the primary point of support for volunteers, fostering a culture of mutual respect, learning, and dharmic dedication.

Required Qualifications
- ✓2+ years of experience leading volunteer programs, youth chapters, non-profit initiatives, or university clubs.
- ✓Inspirational communication skills with genuine warmth, organizational empathy, and active listening.
- ✓Exceptional project coordination skills to manage distributed volunteers across multiple time zones.
- ✓Deep resonance with the concept of Seva and Sanatan cultural values.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- ★Experience with volunteer management software, Google Workspace, and Discord/Slack community coordination.
- ★Prior association with cultural trusts, heritage NGOs, or spiritual organizations.
