02About the Role
Seva (selfless service) is the lifeblood of Sanatan culture—exemplified in Annadanam (sacred food distribution), Goseva (cow care), temple cleaning (Punita Teertha drives), and supporting aged scholars and priests. As a Seva Coordinator at SattvaLok, you will build and mobilize a vibrant national volunteer network. You will design, coordinate, and execute impactful seva campaigns that channel devotee contributions into tangible, transparent acts of societal and environmental care.
03Responsibilities & What You'll Do
- →Coordinate high-impact community seva drives: temple cleanliness campaigns, sacred riverbank cleanups, and tree-planting drives.
- →Manage transparent Annadanam programs in collaboration with verified temple kitchens and shelters.
- →Recruit, train, and engage a nationwide network of youth and student volunteers (Sattva Sevaks).
- →Ensure rigorous audit trails, photographic documentation, and transparent impact reports for all devotee-funded sevas.
- →Coordinate relief support and food distribution during major religious gatherings (Kumbh Mela, Rath Yatra, seasonal festivals).
- →Partner with animal welfare trusts for ethical Goshala support and fodder distribution.
04Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- ✓2+ years of experience leading volunteer groups, NGO social programs, or community initiatives.
- ✓Strong empathetic leadership, public communication, and crisis-management skills.
- ✓Meticulous record-keeping and financial transparency mindset.
- ✓Deep alignment with the spiritual philosophy of Nishkama Karma and Sanatan seva ethics.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- ★Experience organizing large-scale on-ground events or community drives.
- ★Familiarity with digital community management tools (WhatsApp Communities, Telegram, Notion).
- ★Multi-lingual communication skills across Hindi, English, and regional languages.
