02About the Role
The precision of Vedic rituals relies on meticulous geometric altar designs (Shulba Sutras), exact sacrificial woods (Samidhas), precise offerings (Havis), and metered chanting. As a Vedic Ritual Specialist at SattvaLok, you will establish the authoritative master standards for all rituals conducted or cataloged on our platform. You will translate classical Prayoga manuals (Baudhayana, Apastamba, Ashvalayana, Paraskara), document Agamic temple rituals, and ensure that our digital step-by-step guides reflect unimpeachable scriptural accuracy.
03Responsibilities & What You'll Do
- →Codify comprehensive ritual manuals (Prayoga guides) detailing step-by-step actions, mantras, and mudras.
- →Specify authentic ingredients, botanical offerings, and fire pit geometries (Kundas) for various yajnas.
- →Review and audit ceremony workflows to ensure compliance with classical Dharma Shastras and Grihya Sutras.
- →Collaborate with visual teams to create instructional diagrams, audio guides, and video references for priests and devotees.
- →Conduct masterclasses and quality audits for our verified Purohit network.
- →Resolve complex ritual queries regarding expiations (Prayashchitta), replacements, and regional variations.
04Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- ✓Advanced mastery of Vedic Karma Kanda and Grihya/Shrauta Sutras.
- ✓Reading fluency in classical Sanskrit ritual texts and Prayoga treatises.
- ✓Demonstrated experience training priests or authoring ritual guidelines.
- ✓Academic rigor paired with profound respect for lived spiritual traditions.
