02About the Role
SattvaLok is building India's most trusted, verified network of learned Purohits and Pandits who perform rituals with flawless Vedic pronunciation, complete ritual sincerity, and absolute financial transparency. As an empanelled Purohit at SattvaLok, you will perform traditional pujas, havans, homas, and samskaras (Namakarana, Upanayana, Vivaha, Shraaddha). You will be freed from commercial haggling, with fair, transparent dakshinas, provided with verified samagri, and connected with sincere devotees who respect your sacred calling.
03Responsibilities & What You'll Do
- →Chant Vedic mantras with precise svara, clarity, and devotional bhava during ceremonies.
- →Conduct complete puja rituals strictly according to shastric vidhi without cutting corners or rushing.
- →Explain the meaning of key mantras and symbolic steps to the devotee family during the ceremony.
- →Perform both physical in-person rituals and structured digital livestream pujas for global devotees.
- →Maintain exemplary personal cleanliness, ritual purity (Madi/Shaucha), and traditional attire.
- →Treat all devotees with equal dignity, reverence, and spiritual care regardless of background.
04Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- ✓5+ years of professional priesthood experience with traditional Veda Pathashala credentials.
- ✓Flawless recitation of Rigveda, Yajurveda, or Samaveda mantras relevant to karma-kanda.
- ✓Mastery of major Smarta, Shrauta, or regional Puja Paddhatis.
- ✓Uncompromising personal integrity, punctuality, and devotion to sacred traditions.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- ★Certification from recognized Veda Vidyapeethas, Mathas, or Temple Devasthanams.
- ★Ability to converse in Hindi and English or a regional language to explain ritual meanings.
- ★Experience conducting temple consecrations (Kumbhabhishekam) or major havans.
