02About the Role
SattvaLok believes that preserving and celebrating Sanatan culture is inherently collaborative. Our Community & Partnerships team builds bridges with spiritual institutions, ashrams, Sanskrit universities, heritage foundations, and individual researchers. As a Community & Partnerships Intern, you will be the welcoming voice connecting SattvaLok with passionate educators, scholars, and youth communities across India and the diaspora. You will learn relationship management, partner outreach, event coordination, and community building from ground zero.
03Responsibilities & What You'll Do
- →Research, map, and catalog cultural organizations, Sanskrit academies, and heritage foundations.
- →Assist in coordinating outreach emails, introductory calls, and follow-up communications with potential partners.
- →Support community engagement across our digital discussion forums, social spaces, and reader communities.
- →Help organize online webinars, panel discussions, and collaborative cultural workshops.
- →Gather feedback from community members to help guide platform features and editorial priorities.
- →Maintain our partnership database and CRM records with up-to-date contact information and status notes.
04Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- ✓Enrolled in or completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, Management, or related disciplines.
- ✓Warm, empathetic, and polite interpersonal communication skills in both English and Hindi.
- ✓Genuine respect, reverence, and familiarity with Indian traditions, spiritual customs, and cultural etiquettes.
- ✓Organized work ethic, with prompt follow-up and disciplined record keeping.
- ✓Ability to commit at least 20 hours per week in a collaborative remote setting.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- ★Fluency or conversational ability in a regional Indian language (Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, or Bengali).
- ★Prior experience managing student clubs, volunteer initiatives, or community events.
- ★Familiarity with tools like Notion, Airtable, Google Sheets, or Slack.
