The sacred literature of India is an ocean of extraordinary depth, comprising Shrutis, Smritis, the Ramayana, Mahabharata, 18 Mahapuranas, and hundreds of regional Upapuranas and Agamas. As a Scripture Researcher at SattvaLok, you will establish rigorous textual lineage maps, clarify historical and allegorical contexts, catalog cross-references, and resolve pervasive misconceptions. Your scholarship will power our authoritative scripture reader, ensuring every passage is accompanied by verified source citations and canonical commentaries.
03Responsibilities & What You'll Do
- →Analyze and cross-reference verses across the Itihasa-Purana corpus and classical commentarial bhasyas.
- →Trace thematic continuities (e.g., the concept of Ishvara, avataras, dharma dilemmas) across multiple scriptural layers.
- →Differentiate verified shastric verses from interpolations (prakshipta) using recognized critical editions (Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute, etc.).
- →Write chapter summaries, character genealogies, and philosophical commentaries for scripture reading modules.
- →Verify citation accuracy across all platform content and conversational AI knowledge graphs.
- →Develop pedagogical companion guides for seekers beginning their journey with classical texts.

Required Qualifications
- ✓Deep scholarly mastery of the Itihasa, Purana, and Upanishadic corpuses.
- ✓Reading capability in classical Sanskrit to verify shlokas and commentarial context.
