02About the Role
Many families in India and the diaspora wish to perform sacred rituals—such as Griha Pravesha, Satyanarayan Katha, Rudrabhisheka, or Navagraha Shanti—but feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice, unclear samagri lists, and commercialized middlemen. As a Puja Consultant at SattvaLok, you will act as a trusted spiritual advisor. You will evaluate devotees' sankalpas, astrological timings (Muhurat), and family traditions, guiding them through the exact vidhis, required items, mantra significance, and connecting them with certified purohits.
03Responsibilities & What You'll Do
- →Conduct virtual pre-puja consultations to understand devotees' spiritual objectives, family lineage (Gotra, Shakha), and requirements.
- →Advise devotees on the appropriate ritual procedures, deities, and sacred timings (Muhurats) for their specific intentions.
- →Provide complete, verified Puja Samagri checklists with traditional botanical, dravya, and offering specifications.
- →Explain the symbolic, psychological, and spiritual significance of rituals to cultivate devotional immersion.
- →Coordinate with verified Purohits and temple trusts to ensure seamless ceremony execution.
- →Maintain respectful, culturally sensitive communication with families across all sampradayas.
04Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- ✓3+ years of experience in ritual guidance, Vedic samskaras, or priestly advisory services.
- ✓Deep understanding of primary Smarta, Vaishnava, Shaiva, or Shakta puja vidhis.
- ✓Empathetic, clear communication in Hindi, English, or regional Indian languages.
- ✓Strict commitment to transparency, zero commercial exploitation, and authentic ritual decorum.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- ★Formal training in a Veda Pathashala or Sanskrit Vidyapeetha.
- ★Experience advising diaspora families in the US, UK, Canada, or Australia.
- ★Familiarity with astrological Muhurat factors influencing rituals.
