02About the Role
At SattvaLok, our frontend interfaces are the gateway through which thousands of seekers, researchers, and families engage with sacred knowledge and AI discovery tools. As a Frontend Developer, you will craft performant, pixel-perfect, and highly responsive user interfaces using Next.js App Router, TypeScript, and modern Vanilla CSS. You will work on intricate interactive components including astronomical Panchang charts, scripture readers with bilingual glossaries, conversational AI chat windows, and multi-layered cultural dashboards that feel fluid and luxurious across all devices.
03Responsibilities & What You'll Do
- →Develop responsive, accessible, and maintainable web applications using Next.js 15+ (App Router), React 19, and TypeScript.
- →Implement modern UI architectures utilizing CSS Modules, custom design tokens, and smooth micro-interactions without relying on heavy UI bloat.
- →Optimize web performance, Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS), and server-side rendering for optimal SEO and user experience.
- →Integrate complex REST and streaming endpoints for real-time conversational AI interactions and interactive search experiences.
- →Ensure robust cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and dark-theme elegance across the platform.
- →Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate Figma designs into resilient, interactive web components.
- →Write clean, modular code with strong typing and appropriate automated unit/integration tests.
04Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- ✓2+ years of professional production experience with React and Next.js (App Router, Server Components, SSR, SSG).
- ✓Exceptional mastery of TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- ✓Deep understanding of modern CSS (CSS Modules, Flexbox, Grid, CSS custom properties, and responsive design systems).
- ✓Proven ability to translate sophisticated visual designs into responsive, high-fidelity interfaces.
- ✓Experience optimizing client-side performance, image loading, font rendering, and asset caching.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- ★Familiarity with streaming API protocols (ReadableStream, Server-Sent Events) in Next.js.
- ★Experience building multilingual or internationalized (i18n) web applications.
- ★Knowledge of SEO best practices, structured data integration, and semantic HTML5.
- ★Appreciation for Indian cultural aesthetics, classical typography, and clean minimalism.
