When Brahma and Vishnu disputed who was supreme, a pillar of endless fire (Lingodbhava) appeared. Lord Shiva emerged from it, proving divine infinity.

### Drinking of Halahal Poison during Samudra Manthan (Matsya Purana & Bhagavata Purana)
To protect the universe from toxic Halahal poison that emerged during cosmic ocean churning, Shiva drank the poison, holding it in His throat, earning the name Neelakantha.

### Sacred Marriage of Shiva & Parvati (Shiva Purana (Rudra Samhita))
Marks the divine union of Shiva (Pure Consciousness) and Parvati (Prakriti / Divine Energy) in Mount Kailash.
